Winslow State Park, is located on the northwest slope of Mt. Kearsarge in Wilmot, New Hampshire. The picnic area is on an 1,820-foot plateau with outstanding views of the White Mountains to the north and the taller of the southern and central Vermont peaks. Mt. Sunapee, Ragged Mountain, and Pleasant Lake dominate the closer landscape. A one-mile foot trail leads from the picnic area to the summit of Mt. Kearsarge. A 1- 3/4 mile trail offers a loop possibility.

From I-89 South: Take I-89 South to Exit 11. Take NH-Rte 11 east for approximately 7 miles. Turn right onto Kearsarge Valley Road for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Kearsarge Mountain Road and follow signs to park entrance.
From I-89 North: Take I-89 North to Exit 10. Turn right onto North Road for .1 mile. Turn right onto North Road for approximately .25 miles. Turn left onto Kearsarge Valley Road for approximately 3miles. Turn right onto Kearsarge Mountain Road and follow signs to park entrance.

Park Information
Winslow State Park shares Mount Kearsarge with Rollins State Park. Winslow is located in Wilmot, New Hampshire on the northwest slope of the mountain- Winslow offers two hiking trails to the summit. The Winslow Trail is marked with red blazes and leaves from the parking area. It climbs 1.1 miles and 1,100 feet through the forest and over bare granite ledge to the 2,937 foot summit. The Barlow Trail is marked with yellow blazes and leaves from the parking area. Although it is a longer hike of 1.7 miles, it is a more gradual ascent to the summit. Hikers on these trails can enjoy views of the Lake Sunapee Region, the Andover area, Ragged Mountain, and Mount Cardigan.

Cancellations
Cancellations MUST be made prior to 9AM of the day of your visit. There will be no refunds due to weather, insects, or failure to attend the park without prior notice. Refunds requested for extenuating circumstances must be submitted to: nhparks@dncr.nh.gov where they will be evaluated on a case by case basis.Pet Policy

Off-Season Use
During off hours and the off-season the park is typically not staffed, comfort stations are not available and gates may be closed. The off-season poses unique risks inherent when participating in outdoor recreational activities. Recreationists should possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and equipment to ensure their own safety. Users assume all risk while recreating in State Park lands.NH Senior Discount:
