The Auditorium is open for Full Day reservations from 9 am - 4 pm. See site details and contact the park office to reserve.
Visitors wishing to reserve the Auditorium must visit the facility and meet with park staff. Please call 984-867-8240 or email william.umstead@ncparks.gov for more information.
All reservations must be made by an adult age 18 or older, who will be present for the entire duration of the event.

Auditorium may be reserved any day of the week. Groups may not arrive before 9 am or stay past 4 pm.
The maximum occupancy is 50 people. Please note that parking is very limited and there are no reserved parking spots. Carpooling is encouraged.
The Auditorium is in the Visitor Center, which is open to the public. The lobby area of the Visitor Center may not be used for gathering, registration, breaks, or break-out sessions. The doors to the Auditorium must remain closed while the room is in use.
No food or drink is allowed in the Auditorium. Groups are welcome to use the picnic tables around the Visitor Center, but the tables are not reserved and may be in use by other visitors. There is a larger picnic area a short drive away from the Visitor Center.
Audio/Visual equipment available for use when renting the auditorium: projector, screen, and basic sound system. No computers are provided and technology compatibility is not guaranteed. Groups planning to use the AV equipment are advised to test the equipment prior to their reservation.
Auditorium rentals include the use of 60 chairs, 1 7-foot bench, 1 podium, 8 rectangular tables (5’x18”), and 2 trapezoidal tables (25” deep, 30-58” long). No additional tables or chairs are provided or allowed.
North Carolina State Park rules and regulations are posted in each park and enforced by rangers. Violating these rules and regulations is a misdemeanor and may result in a fine and revocation of permit.
State vehicle and traffic laws are enforced, and the speed limit is 25 mph unless otherwise posted.
Unlicensed vehicles, motorcycles, golf carts, ATV's and mini-bikes are prohibited, with the exception of mobility-aid devices used by a mobility-impaired person. All vehicles are prohibited from walkways, trails and other areas not designated for such purposes.
North Carolina state parks are wildlife sanctuaries. No hunting is allowed and collecting plants, minerals and artifacts is prohibited. State fishing regulations are enforced.
The Auditorium is not available for commercial or fundraising activities. Indoor facilities are smoke free.
