This site was formerly known as youth group site 001, however, with the addition of a new youth site 001 in late 2023, this site has now been renamed and is known as youth tent site 002 going forward. Please see the current map for the layout of these three youth tent areas.
When booking a youth tent reservation, only the first ten (10) occupants per night is charged and paid for. Any number of occupants over and above ten (10) will result in an additional charge of $2.00 per person per night upon arrival. Please be prepared to pay the additional amount upon arrival / check-in at the property.
Youth tent areas are primitive camping only. NO ACCESS TO MODERN RESTROOMS, SHOWERS OR ELECTRICITY. A nearby vault/pit toilet is available for use.. Use of other campground showers and restrooms is strictly prohibited.
For cars, trucks and campers, the entrance fee is $7 per vehicle for in-state plates and $9 per vehicle for out-of-state plates, seven days a week including holidays. For pedestrians, bicycles, buses and passenger vans, the entrance fee is $2 per person. When staying overnight, you will be required to pay the entrance fee the first time you enter and your receipt will serve as your in/out pass the remainder of your stay. In-state annual entrance permits (AEPs) are $50. Out-of-state annual entrance permits are $70. Golden Hoosier permits are $25.
Youth Tent Areas are NOT family-camping areas, but instead, are primitive tent-camping areas for youth-based non-profit groups.
When arriving at the property, the customer must be able to provide verification of not-for-profit status if requested by management.
TOTAL SITE DIMENSIONS 75 X 200. SUITABLE ONLY FOR TENTS. THIS IS A LEVEL SITE WITH A GRASS SURFACE. NO ELECTRICAL SERVICE. 20' TO WATER SUPPLY, 185' TO VAULT TOILET.
For camping, check-in and check-out time is 2pm, except Sundays and holidays when check-in and check-out time is 5pm, local time.
