POOL CLOSED FOR SEASON: We apologize for the inconvenience, but our lifeguards have returned to school. The Turkey Run outdoor pool closed for the season after Sunday, August 3, 2025, and will not re-open until 2026.
STATE ROAD 47 CONSTRUCTION / DETOUR: Approximately seven (7) miles east of Turkey Run State Park, INDOT is replacing a small bridge. Beginning August 4, 2025 through mid-September (2025) construction work on State Road 47 (between E 800 N and OLD IN 59 STUB) may affect travel plans to and from the park. Please find detour information on INDOT's TrafficWise website.
NO OVERNIGHT USAGE ALLOWED - THIS SHELTER OR RECREATION BUILDING IS FOR DAY USE ONLY. Tents, dining flies, and other camping units are not allowed in shelter areas or recreation building areas. These are day-use facilities only and must be vacated each day by the designated check out time.
For cars, trucks and campers, the entrance fee is $7 per vehicle for in-state plates and $9 per vehicle for out-of-state plates, seven days a week including holidays. For pedestrians, bicycles, buses and passenger vans, the entrance fee is $2 per person. When staying overnight, you will be required to pay the entrance fee the first time you enter and your receipt will serve as your in/out pass the remainder of your stay. In-state annual entrance permits (AEPs) are $50. Out-of-state annual entrance permits are $70. Golden Hoosier permits are $25.

LARGE, 2-SIDED, 2 ROOM SHELTER, 50X20. 15 AMP ELECTRICAL SERVICE, 5 OUTLETS. 12 TABLE ON ONE SIDE & 2 ON OTHER, 5'-8' LONG. 3 LARGE FIREPLACE GRILLS. WATER SUPPLY. ATTACHED RESTROOMS. HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE. LOCATED IN A GRAVEL SURFACED, PUBLIC AREA WITH NO ACCESS ROAD. PARKING NOT GUARANTEED, ADDITIONAL PARKING CLOSE BY. BEACH/POOL 600', NATURE CENTER 700'.
