Frequently Asked Questions Where are you located? - Oscar Scherer State Park Campground 1843 S Tamiami Trl Osprey, FL 34229 What's included in my glamping site? - You'll enjoy a tent like none you’ve ever seen before! - The inside of your tent will include: - Floor - Rugs - Beds - Lamps - Bed linens - Chairs - Heating & A/C unit (depending on the weather) - Electricity outlets for charging your device - Keurig coffee maker with (4) K-Cup pods & (2) Timberline Glamping coffee mugs (available for purchase) - Mini fridge - The outside of your tent will have: - A large gravel site - (2) Hammocks - Charcoal grill with cooking grate - Wood fire pit - Picnic table - String lights What should I bring? - Clothing. - Towels (Beach Towels & Bath Towels). - Shampoo, Conditioner, and body wash will be provided in the tents with ensuite bathrooms. - Lighters or Matches (if you plan on having a fire). - Food and anything needed for food preparation (including but not limited to paper plates, utensils, grilling equipment, paper towels, cooler with ice, pots, and pans). - Drinks/drinking water (We supply four Timberline Glamping Co. coffee pods) - Your favorite people. - Flashlights or lanterns for any walks away from the site. - Firewood and fire starters (Both Firewood and Firestarter can be added to your stay and be waiting for you when you arrive at your site). - Sunscreen. - A good book. - Your favorite family game or a deck of cards. - Hiking shoes. What time can I check in? - You may check in to your glamping site at 3 pm. - Check-out time is 11:00 am. What's the bathroom situation? - We have a shared bathhouse with restrooms and showers. - Just a very short walk from our sites (maintained by the staff at the park) Glamping is it still camping? - We find it is better to properly set the expectations for everyone before they come to Glamping. - You will have a very comfortable bed with proper linens. - You will have places to sit, places to eat, and places to charge your phone. - You will still be able to wake up and have a fresh cup of coffee from a Keurig Coffee Maker. - We do provide heaters in the winter and air conditioners in the summer, but remember this is a tent with a canvas exterior. - The heating and cooling will be just enough to take the edge off, but will not have the same effect as a home. - In the summer months, we recommend keeping the doors and windows closed during the day and the canvas doors open at night to let the summer breeze in. In colder weather, it is important to bring warm clothing. - Most Importantly, you will have a chance to re-imagine the world around you as you make special memories with family and friends. Do you allow dogs? - We love our furry Glampers! Just add the pet fee for each pet in the add-on section at checkout or send us an email letting us know ahead of time and we will get that added. - We just ask that you do not leave your pet alone in the tents at any time unless properly created. - You are financially responsible for any damage that is done to our accommodations by your pets. What happens if it rains? - Sometimes it rains. - All of our tents are waterproof and have additional rain guards to ensure you still have an enjoyable experience. - In fact, we have been told by guests that experiencing rain in our glamping tents is a great experience. - We do not cancel reservations due to rain, thunderstorms, or illnesses. - We do recommend protecting your trip at the time of your booking with Timberline Glamping Travel Insurance in case of inclement weather or any illnesses that might arise. - We do not cancel reservations due to rain, thunderstorms, or illnesses. - Adding TLG Travel Insurance is easy, just select it as an add-on when making your reservation. - You can also add it later as long as it is still more than 14 days from your reservation. - If something comes up, there are no long forms to fill out...just send us an email. - The Fine Print: Must Cancel or Move your reservation prior to 3 pm the day before your reservation for a full refund. - If you cancel within 24 hours (After 3 pm the day before your stay), you forfeit your deposit. - Must have One Policy Per Accommodation Non-Refundable. Can I purchase some of the items in the tent to take home with me? - Yes you can, you can take any of the items sold in our online store home with you and we will charge the card on file. Lost & Found items - We do have a lost and found, any item that is left behind will be placed in Lost & Found and remain there for 14 days. - On the 15th day, any item left behind will be taken to our local donation center. - If you left something behind, we are happy to mail the item back to you and charge the card on file for shipping and packaging (if needed). Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. - Checkout time is 11:00 a.m. - Visitors of registered campers must depart the campground by 9:30 p.m. or when the camper checks out prior to this time. - A late checkout fee will be charged if you are not out by 11 a.m. - Must be 21 years of age or older to reserve and have at least one adult over the age of 21 in each accommodation. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Vehicles Policy - All campers and visitors must register at the campground office upon arrival. - All vehicles require a vehicle pass. - All campers and visitors must obtain a vehicle pass at the campground office. - Campsite Occupancy is limited to a maximum of eight (8) people and three (2) vehicles. - All tents have at least 1 parking spot directly at the campsite and additional parking is close by. Speed Limit - Speed Limit 25 mph. Gates Policy - The campground has an automated entry gate that requires an access code to enter. - Codes will be assigned at check-in. Alcohol Policy - Consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited in the park, except campers may consume alcoholic beverages within their campsites responsibly and obey park rules and state laws. Watercraft - All Watercraft options may be rented at the park or from an outside company as we do not offer kayak/canoe rentals. Smoking Policy - Smoking is prohibited in all Timberline Glamping accommodations as well as the campsite. - The guest agrees to pay $750.00 for smoking in or around the Timberline Glamping accommodations. Garbage - Garbage should be deposited at the dumpster on the main road of the Park nightly and at check out. - Failure to do so could result in a $50 fine. Children Policy - Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. Pets Policy - We love our furry Glampers! Just let us know ahead of time. - There is a Pet Cleaning Fee you can add to your reservation per pet on the Enhancements page before checkout. - If your plans change and you decide to no longer bring a pet but you paid for a pet fee, please advise us for a refund. - If your plans change and you do bring a pet but did not pay a fee in advance, we will charge the pet fee after your stay. - Pets must be kept on a leash not exceeding 10 feet in length. Pets are not allowed in restrooms, playground areas, shelters, or designated swim areas. - Pets shall not be left unattended in any Timberline Glamping accommodation unless properly created. - The guest is financially responsible for all damage caused by their pets. - Failure to do so will result in a $150.00 fine. Quiet Hours - Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. - Unreasonable or excessive noise at any time is prohibited. Fire Policy - Fires must be confined in a designated fire ring or grill. - The park sells firewood to use during the gatehouse hours of 8 am-Sunset. - No chainsaws can be used. Purchase Items - We are not responsible for illness caused by food consumption and the purchaser is responsible for their purchase. Credit Card On File - RENTER agrees that they will provide TIMBERLINE GLAMPING COMPANY with a valid credit card to be kept on file in case of damages. Damages to Equipment - RENTER acknowledges and understands that equipment is to be left in clean, undamaged condition, and in the same condition as at the commencement of the rental period. - If the rental equipment is not left in suitable condition, RENTER acknowledges and understands that TIMBERLINE GLAMPING COMPANY. reserves the right to charge RENTER for any repairs, replacement, or special cleaning of any damaged, lost, or personal property. - RENTER acknowledges, understands, and agrees that by signing this Boat Rental Agreement/Contract, he/she is authorizing TIMBERLINE GLAMPING COMPANY to charge RENTER for any damages sustained. - Such charges will be removed from the RENTER's security deposit or charged to the credit card on file. Loss of Renter(s) Property - It is expressly agreed that TIMBERLINE GLAMPING COMPANY shall not be liable for the loss or damage to any property left or stored by RENTER or any other person in or upon said equipment after the return thereof to TIMBERLINE GLAMPING COMPANY. - RENTER agrees to hold TIMBERLINE GLAMPING COMPANY harmless from, and against any such claim. Return of Equipment - RENTER acknowledges and understands that they will return the equipment to TIMBERLINE GLAMPING COMPANY no later than the time reserved. - Late returns will result in fees of $50 per hour starting 15 minutes after the time specified (11 am). Disclaimer - TIMBERLINE GLAMPING CO. reserves the right to inspect rental equipment up to 5 days after the rental period if necessary. - If damage is caused during the rental period, I the RENTER authorize TIMBERLINE GLAMPING COMPANY to notify me of the costs and charge the credit card on file to recover damages. - I, the RENTER, understand that all damages will be repaired by TIMBERLINE GLAMPING COMPANY's authorized mechanics and/or repairmen, and no repairs will be allowed by the RENTER or other suggested mechanics. - I understand that I as RENTER am responsible for all damages, even if they are above the amount of my initial deposit or authorization.
MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
