Screened Shelter sites are shaded featuring Elm, Bois D'Arc & Hackberry trees.
Fully louvered back walls with 2 side walls that are half louvered and half screened. Nails, screws, staples, tacks or any other similar items that cause destruction to the facility will not be allowed to be placed in the wood structure of the screened shelters for purposes of hanging material to screen out the adverse weather conditions.
Shelter area is not recommended for large groups due to lack of parking and common areas. Pop-ups 14 feet long or less may be parked at the shelter. A maximum of 2 vehicles are permitted to be parked at each site. No vehicles will be permitted to be parked along camping loop except for unloading purposes. Any additional vehicles will have to park at designated excess vehicle parking areas, which is a few hundred yards away. A vehicle is considered any car, truck, van, motorcycle, RV, pop-up, trailer, etc regardless of size. After 2 vehicles are registered to the site, each additional overnight vehicle with be charged a $5 excess vehicle fee per day.
