ATTENTION: For those making shelter reservations, the restroom facilities will be closed and will not have water available between September 15 through May 15 each year.
NO OVERNIGHT USAGE ALLOWED - THIS SHELTER OR RECREATION BUILDING IS FOR DAY USE ONLY. Tents, dining flies, and other camping units are not allowed in shelter areas or recreation building areas. These are day-use facilities only and must be vacated each day by the designated check out time.
For cars, trucks and campers, the entrance fee is $7 per vehicle for in-state plates and $9 per vehicle for out-of-state plates, seven days a week including holidays. For pedestrians, bicycles, buses and passenger vans, the entrance fee is $2 per person. When staying overnight, you will be required to pay the entrance fee the first time you enter and your receipt will serve as your in/out pass the remainder of your stay. In-state annual entrance permits (AEPs) are $50. Out-of-state annual entrance permits are $70. Golden Hoosier permits are $25.
Lost Bridge East shelter at Salamonie is outside of a gate, therefore, no entrance fee charged

PARKING IS LIMITED BY THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE LAUNCHING BOATS AT RAMP. THERE IS A BOAT LAUNCH SITE WITHIN 500 FEET. LARGE GRASSY FIELD ADJACENT TO SHELTERHOUSE. MODERN RESTROOMS 300 FEET, LAKE 400 FEET, NATURE CENTER 2.3 MILES, GENERAL STORE 2.6 MILES, BOAT RENTAL 2.6 MILES.
