The shelter is located at Rendezvous Mtn.
The Rendezvous Mtn. Shelter has 10 picnic tables, electricity, lights, a double sided chimney with grills and fire pit, and a horse shoe pit with shoes.
The Amphitheater, located just adjacent to the shelter, has a covered stage, electricity, lights, podium, and bench seating for approx. 100 people.
Rendezvous Mtn has limited parking available for large events. There are only 20 parking spots closest to the Shelter/Amphitheater area. With shuttling from another park area, we could accommodate small weddings up to approx.. 100 people, 50 cars.

This Shelter is located at Rendezvous Mountain, a unit of the NC State Park system, 1956 Rendezvous Mtn Road, Purlear NC. Not located at Stone Mountain.
If reserving the picnic shelter for a wedding please fill out a Special Activity Permit form. This form can also be found under the Fees/FAQ/Rules area for Rendezvous Mtn. on ncparks.gov.
Please be advised parking is limited. All visitors are encouraged to carpool.

Alcoholic beverages and fireworks are prohibited. Firearms are prohibited except with the proper license.
Building fires in undesignated areas is prohibited.
Vehicles must be on paved/gravel driveways.
Pets are allowed except in park buildings, but they must be on a leash no longer than six feet and cannot be left unattended.
Use of unlicensed motorized vehicles is prohibited including golf carts, ATV's, etc, with the exception of mobility aid devices used by a mobility impaired person.
