July 23, 2025 - Purtis Creek State Park water and electric campsites is closed to advance reservation from December 11th to the 15th as the park hosts its 2nd annual Christmas in the Park event.
If you are interested in participating, you may contact the park at 903-425-2332, 8:15am-4:30pm. Sites will be held on a first come/first served basis.
Entry fees to view the decorations will be waived in exchange for a new in-the-box toy that will be donated to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Blue Santa charity program. Please see the park’s event page for more details.
