There is a $500 use fee charged upon reservation, which covers the first 100 guests attending. The use fee if based on how many guests are attending, please see the chart below to see the price break down. The park will contact you via e-mail to provide you with important information regarding your reservation. GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT PAWTUCKAWAY STATE PARK DAY USE AREA
Pawtuckaway State Park is a 5,500 acre park in the south east New Hampshire. Our day use area includes a public canoe and kayak launch, over 32 miles of public trails, and a 700 ft beach hosting grills and picnic tables, many ADA accessible. We rent canoes, kayaks and paddleboards at the State Park Store during the main season.

$5.00 per person ages 12 and older
$2.00 per person ages 6 through 11
All children under 6 and NH residents 65 and older are FREE

The Pavilion Area:
The pavilion is an open on 3 sides, has running water and electricity with overhead lighting and outlets. The pavilion and the surrounding area can accommodate several hundred people. Private restrooms, a small standing charcoal grill, a fireplace, as well as a field with a volleyball net, a horseshoe pit, and a baseball diamond are all included with the pavilion rental. The Pavilion is located in heart of the park's day-use area, providing a quick walk to the public beach, as well as the extensive trail system. The fee for the pavilion is based upon attendance, which is listed above. The full $500 fee is due upon making reservation.
*Every 1 to 25 people = an additional $125
Groups up to the capacity of 400 people = $2,000
Special use permits are required for, but not limited to, events that are outside the normal recreational activities for the requested area. Any questions should be discussed with park staff prior to the event. There is a processing fee of $100.
All permits require certificate of liability insurance with a minimum of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million general aggregate no less than 2 weeks prior to the planned event. This can be secured through your insurance company.

Cancellations may be made up to 30 days prior to the event date and 3/4 of the total rental fee will be refunded. Cancellations made 29-15 days prior to the event date shall forfeit 1/2 the total fee. 14-0 days prior shall not have any fees refunded.

Additional Information the Renter Should Know:
- Pets are allowed at the pavilion
- Generators are not allowed
- Trash is not to be burned or left behind
- NH Parks have a carry in/carry out policy for trash. Trash can be disposed of in the park for additional fee, please contact pawtuckawaysp@dncr.nh.gov for arrangements.
- Water balloons, balloon releases, confetti, and silly string are prohibited
- Bouncy houses, inflatable slides, and other inflatables are prohibited unless a special use permit is obtained prior to your visit. Special use permit applications can be requested by emailing dncr.stateparkpermits@dncr.nh.gov
- Nails, screws, staples and any other items that will damage the structure are not allowed
- The pavilion opens at 8 am so we may clean the space prior to your arrival. Please contact park staff if an early arrival is needed.
- Equipment rentals need to be set up and removed the same day unless granted prior permission from the park manager.
