Requires a Special Activity Permit. Reservations are contingent on an approved Special Activity Permit (SAP). Please fill out the Special Activity Permit here and submit it to the park. The park superintendent must approve your application before you can host your event. There may be a fee associated with a special activity permit. The fee depends on expected attendance and how the park classifies your event.
Call the park to get information about reservations 336-982-5817. Due to current COVID restrictions, indoor gatherings are limited to 50 people or less.
Alcoholic beverages and fireworks are prohibited. Firearms are prohibited except for with the proper license.
No pets allowed inside community building (exception: service animals).
Unlicensed vehicles, motorcycles, golf carts, ATV's and mini-bikes are prohibited with the exception of mobility-aid devices used by a mobility-impaired person. All vehicles are prohibited from walkways, trails and other areas not designated for such purposes.

The renting group shall use the building for private recreational purposes only and shall not operate, or permit to be operated, any concession or profit making enterprise.
Such enterprise involves the charging of admission or the sale of any food, drink, merchandise or article of commodity to invited guest or the public except under written permission from the Park Superintendent.
A rental contract will need to be signed on or before arrival by the groups agent. The renting group shall be responsible for maintaining the good condition of the building and agrees to pay all fees and damage costs arising from their occupancy of the building within two weeks following the event.
Use only masking tape when hanging decorations; Do not drive nails or staples into the walls or ceiling. Do not hang decorations from the overhead lighting fixtures. Please take your decorations down when you leave.
DO NOT cover any park entrance or information signs with decorations or your own signs.
Gates lock at specific hours posted upon entering the park throughout the year.
North Carolina state park rules and regulations are posted in each park and enforced by rangers. Violating these rules and regulations is a misdemeanor and may result in a fine and revocation of permit.
Special Activity Permit shall be required for special events like weddings, bike events, festivals, etc. Please contact park office.
State vehicle and traffic laws are enforced, and the speed limit is 25 mph unless otherwise posted.
North Carolina state parks are wildlife sanctuaries; no hunting is allowed and collecting plants, minerals and artifacts is prohibited. State fishing regulations are enforced.
