Access to backcountry campsites is never guaranteed, trail conditions (i.e. snow, mud, etc.) may make sites inaccessible for short periods of time. Please plan on adverse trail conditions during certain times of the year.
Nearby seasonal water spring may not be flowing during dry years. Please plan accordingly with adequate water supplies.

This is a hike-in, backcountry, campsite.
Access Black Mountain Backcountry Campsites via trail 13 (Black Bear Trail) to trail 27. Access Trail 13 from the Camper Services Building parking lot. Overnight vehicle parking available in the Camper Service Building parking lot.
All tents must remain on 12x12 tent pad.
All food is required to be stored in the bear-resistant containers, located on site.
CAMPFIRES PROHIBITED. Backpacking stoves permitted.
Dogs are NOT allowed on any park trails or backcountry campsites.
