Save the Day Passes
Many parks fill to capacity on weekends and holidays. Pre-purchase a day pass and guarantee your entry and parking. Day passes are:
- Valid until 5 p.m., unless the park closes earlier.
- Available up to 1 month in advance.
- Not transferrable to another person or park.
- Also sold at the park, if available.
Driving Directions
• From the north: Take I-35 South through Waco to Exit 315, (FM 107 Moody Marlin) and turn right onto FM 107. Stay on FM 107 for 13 miles through Moody and turn left onto SH 236. The park entrance will be a half-mile ahead on your right. Estimated travel time from just south of Waco is 30 minutes.
• From the south: Two options are available. Take I-35 north through Temple and use one of the exits below. Estimated travel time from Temple is 30 minutes.

o Exit 301 (SH 53, FM 2305, Central Ave.., Adams Ave.): Turn left onto SH 53, FM 2305. Stay on SH 53 (which turns into SH 36 at Loop 363) for 5.7 miles to SH 317. Exit for SH 317 North towards Moody. In 11 miles turn left onto FM 107. Then in 6.4 miles turn left onto SH 236. The park entrance will be a half-mile ahead on your right.
o Exit 314 (FM 107 Moody Marlin): Turn left onto FM 107. Stay on FM 107 for 13 miles through Moody and turn left onto SH 236. The park entrance will be a half-mile ahead on your right.• From the west: From Gatesville, travel 17 miles on FM 107. Turn right onto SH 236. The park entrance will be a half-mile ahead on your right. Estimated travel time is 20 minutes.
Alerts and Important Information
March 25, 2024 - The lower part of the park is closed for public use due to flood damage.
The Group Picnic Pavilions (Rock Tabernacle, Wood Tabernacle and Breezeway) & the river bottom area; including water only campsites, and fishing access are closed for repairs and cleanup from prior flooding.

Groups are also required to pay daily entry fees for participants 13 and older. Wedding Parties must contact the park one week prior to the arrival date for information regarding decorations. Please be advised and plan accordingly.

$2 per day, per person 13 and older.

The gate at the south end of park is closed indefinitely. The park office is located off of Texas Hwy 236 for camping registration during business hours from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Restrooms close daily for cleaning. Check signs for specific times at each restroom.
If you will be a late arrival, you must call the park at 254-853-2389 prior to 4:30pm on arrival date for late arrival instructions.
Swimming is not allowed at Mother Neff State Park.

If arriving after the office closes at 4:30pm, a self-pay station is available for after-hours registration. The self pay station is located at the park headquarters by the bulletin board, near the day use entrance. .
