ATTENTION PET OWNERS:
- Proof of Rabies Vaccination:
- At any time during the camping stay, pet owners may be required to provide proof of rabies vaccination upon request (metal tags are not accepted). Be sure to have this information available to present to park staff and/or law enforcement.
- In cases of exceptions where the pet cannot be vaccinated due to age or other health conditions, a veterinarian’s certified statement explaining the pet is exempt from vaccinations must be presented to park staff and/or law enforcement.
- Where pets are permitted, there is a maximum limit of two pets per site.
- Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 ft. and under control at all times.
- Noise from pets should not disturb your neighbors at any time.
- Do not leave pets unattended and always clean up after them.
- Pet owners/permit holders are liable for any damage, personal injury, or nuisance caused by the pet.
- Where Applicable: Pets are not permitted in playgrounds, buildings, golf courses, boardwalks, pools and spray-grounds or guarded beaches (this does not apply to service animals).
- If you have questions regarding pets, contact the park directly prior to your stay.
- This area is limited to TENT CAMPING ONLY. Trailers, campers, and RVs are NOT permitted.
- A maximum of two pets are permitted. Proof of current rabies vaccination (NOT rabies tags) must be provided upon check-in, pets must be kept on a leash no more than 6 feet in length at all times, they are not allowed in buildings or on the beach, and pets must never be left unattended.
- Adult supervision by a responsible adult, age 21 or older, is required at all times. Alcohol is allowed by permit only. The permit is obtained at the park office on the day of your event. Patrons must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol in New York State.
- A maximum of 6 vehicles is permitted on-site. Any additional vehicles for overnight visitors will be charged the current vehicle use fee and must park in the office parking lot by 10 p.m. each night.
- Any day visitors will be charged the regular vehicle entrance fee for the park, if applicable.
- Ground fires are permitted only in the fireplace provided.
- ALL fireworks, sparklers, and sparkling devices are strictly prohibited from use in all New York State Parks.
- Any disorderly conduct, violation of rules and regulations, or refusal to comply with park officials' directives may result in your group being asked to leave the park, and/or police intervention.
- The Access Pass/Lifetime Liberty Pass is NOT accepted for Group Camp reservations.

The Group Camp area at Moreau Lake State Park can accommodate up to 35 people, 8 tents, and 6 vehicles in a rustic wooded setting. This secluded area is equipped with a small covered pavilion with four picnic tables, a large-group charcoal grill, a common area with a fireplace, water and electric, and its own restroom facilities.
