Monroe Lake Flooding - Spring 2025: Due to recent heavy rainfall, Monroe Lake is holding an extremely high-water level as the reservoir is designed to do to help alleviate downstream flooding. Several recreation facilities, boat ramps, beaches, campsites, etc. are affected and/or closed until the water begins to recede. The following campsites are closed until at least late May or early June: P17, P18, P20, P22, P24, P37 through P53, all of tent area B (B01, B02, B03, B04, B05, B06), part of tent area C (C03, C05), part of tent area D (D01, D02), and electric (Site 166). Customers with reservations will be contacted and refunded in full. Please visit the State Parks Alerts page or Monroe's Facebook page for the most updated information as water levels change.
REDUCED AMENITIES (NOVEMBER - APRIL): Please note that most properties turn off water, close modern restrooms, and winterize full-hookup sites during winter months (November through April). Camping is still available at a reduced rate at almost all locations during this time period. Properties will begin turning on water and opening other facilities between mid-March and late-April depending on the forecasted temperatures. If you plan to camp during early spring and/or late fall, please contact the property office to check on the availability of water, modern restrooms, and full hook-up camping. FULL AMENITIES ARE AVAILABLE MAY - OCTOBER EACH YEAR.
