ATTENTION PET OWNERS:
- Proof of Rabies Vaccination:
- At any time during the camping stay, pet owners may be required to provide proof of rabies vaccination upon request (metal tags are not accepted). Be sure to have this information available to present to park staff and/or law enforcement.
- In cases of exceptions where the pet cannot be vaccinated due to age or other health conditions, a veterinarian’s certified statement explaining the pet is exempt from vaccinations must be presented to park staff and/or law enforcement.
- Where pets are permitted, there is a maximum limit of two pets per site.
- Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 ft. and under control at all times.
- Noise from pets should not disturb your neighbors at any time.
- Do not leave pets unattended and always clean up after them.
- Pet owners/permit holders are liable for any damage, personal injury, or nuisance caused by the pet.
- Where Applicable: Pets are not permitted in playgrounds, buildings, golf courses, boardwalks, pools and spray-grounds or guarded beaches (this does not apply to service animals).
- If you have questions regarding pets, contact the park directly prior to your stay.
- The Group Camp is only rented to non-profit groups at this time.
- The Group Camp area at Max V. Shaul State Park is a semi-open wooded area that can accommodate up to 30 people, and at least 8-10 average sized tents. Other camping units such as trailers and RVs are permitted as space allows. TRAILER AND RVs MUST BE APPROVED BY CAMPING STAFF PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.
- A maximum of 8 cars are allowed to park at the site. All additional cars must be parked in the day use lot, free of charge.
- A maximum of two pets are permitted. PROOF OF CURRENT RABIES VACCINATION (NOT RABIES TAGS) MUST BE PROVIDEDUPON CHECK-IN. Pets must always be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet, are not allowed in buildings, must never be left attended, and owners must clean up after their pets.
- Adult supervision by a responsible adult, age 21 or older, is required at all times.
- Alcohol is allowed by permit only. The permit is obtained at the campground office on the day of your event. Patrons must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcohol in New York State.
- Ground fires are permitted only in the fireplaces provided.
- ALL fireworks, sparklers, and sparkling devices are strictly prohibited for use in all New York State Parks.
- Any disorderly conduct, violation of rules and regulations, or refusal to comply with park officials’ directives may result in your group being asked to leave the park, and/or police intervention.
- The Access Pass/Lifetime Liberty Pass is NOT accepted for Group Camp reservations.
