Maximum of 30 people. Larger groups with approval of Park Manager. Shelter is ADA accessible.

Check-out 9 pm May 1st through September 30th.
Check-out 7 pm October 1st through November 3rd.
Check-out 5 pm November 4th through March 9th.
Check-out 7 pm March 10th through April 30th.
Park Manager may permit earlier check-in or check-out times as needed depending on site availability and customer needs. Customer must call the park directly to make arrangements.
This site includes:
4picnic tables inside shelter which provides seating for 30 people,
1 counter with sink with cold water (Water in shelter turned off seasonally, but water available in restroom nearby)
5 electrical outlets,
Restrooms nearby - ADA accessible.
Year round day-use fee: $10.00 per vehicle day-use permit or annual pass is required. Valid camping receipt is also accepted.
Other day-use customers have access to lawn.
Group is responsible for cleaning shelter area.
1 garbage can with liners is provided. For more garbage cans contact Park Manager.
Users leaving the shelter in an unclean condition are subject to additional charges. A ranger will inspect the shelter upon checkout.
It is the responsibility of the occupants to remove all garbage from the shelter and take it to the refuse/recycling area located on the main park road across from the Welcome Center.
While reservations can be made for multiple days, camping/overnight occupancy is not allowed. Daily check in and checkout time will still apply on a multiple-day reservation.
ATTENTION: SPECIAL USE PERMIT MAY BE REQUIRED FOR NON-TYPICAL PICNIC RELATED EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
Groups must contact the park at (503) 324-0606 x226, 30 days prior to arrival for the following:
*Special events involving non-traditional park activities.
*Personal setup items such as trailer barbeques, tables, chairs, or decorations.
*Use of recreational equipment (dunk tank, inflatable gym, etc.)
*To arrange for vehicle access needs for setup or special needs.
*Approval of Caterers/Vendors.
*Approval for any use of sound systems, bands, DJs, or special entertainment.
*Commercial alcohol.
*A Certificate of Liability may be required for some activities.
*Activities such as bringing in tables and chairs for a wedding, setting up any temporary structures, etc., would require you to obtain liability insurance.
*Please check with the park in advance with any questions regarding liability.
*Request forms must be approved before using park facilities. Please plan accordingly.
Cancellation and Change Policy for Special Facilities-
Cancellations made one month to the day prior to arrival will receive a refund of all Use Fees. For cancellations made less than one month to the day of arrival OPRD retains the first night fees. Changes made one month or more to the day of arrival incur an $8 transaction fee. Reservations for more than five days that are later changed to fewer days will be charged a fee equal to the daily site fee for each day canceled as well as the $8 transaction fee. Changes are not allowed within one month of arrival. If the last day to change falls on a weekend or holiday, you have until 5 p.m. on the following business day to change your reservation.
