For 2025 reservations-Water System Update: While water at the Little Buffalo State Park Campground, Lodge, and Rec Hall remains non-potable, the park has made a potable water hydrant available for use at 40.4596490, -77.1689990. This location is across Little Buffalo Road from the Park Office and Visitor Center. Follow posted signage and cones to the green hydrant. These directions are also posted on bulletin boards at the Campground and Park Office/Visitor Center.
For reservations in 2025: The public water system that feeds the lodge, is currently under a Do Not Drink Notice. The flush bathroom facilities are all operating as normal and sinks and showers are up and running. A water cooler for potable water for cooking, teeth brushing, and drinking is available for customers during their stay. For additional information on the Do Not Drink or Consume Notice please call the park office at 717-567-9255.

Alcohol possession and consumption is restricted to the holder of the reservation permit and invited guests age 21 and older. Firewood Alert: Bringing firewood into Pennsylvania is prohibited and could result in a citation. To help protect the forest from invasive insects that can kill trees and devastate the ecosystem, please do not transport firewood over long distances. Firewood can harbor insects such as emerald ash borer. The use of local firewood is strongly recommended. All firewood must be burned prior to your departure.
The spotted lanternfly has invaded our area. This invasive insect could cause serious harm to Pennsylvania's resources, businesses, and economy. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAVE! Help us stop the spread of these unwelcome hitchhikers. Inspect your vehicle, camper, tent, gear, etc. before you leave the park and destroy any lanternflies you find. For more information, visit the Penn State Extension's Spotted Lanternfly website at https://extension.psu.edu/.This facility is not part of the dogs in cabins program. If you are bringing a dog, please select one that will accommodate your dog.
Facilities showing as walk-ins, are not available on a first come, first serve basis. Site may be unavailable due to cleaning or maintenance. Please call the park office to confirm availability prior to driving to the park. Minimum stays will be required.
