Directions to Lake in the Forest These are the easiest routes to our park. The navigation system may take you a shorter route which actually makes it take longer. These directions are direct without many turns. From I-95 Exit at SR 40 (not the exit number). This is also Daytona Beach or Ormond Beach. Go WEST on 40. (around 50 minutes). You will pass 11. You will pass Astor and SR19. When you pass SR19 on 40, continue another 12 miles on 40. You will see a sign for Lena Seafood on the left side(south). Turn left at the road between Forest Lutheran and the Pack and Sack Gas Station. This is 183rd Ave Road. Continue until you see our entrance signs on the left hand side. Our gates are closed between 5pm and 9am. Please make arrangements in advance if arriving after hours. From I-75 South Exit at SR 40(not the exit number). This is the 2nd Ocala Exit. Go EAST 25 miles on SR40 which is also known as Silver Springs Blvd. You will pass CR35, 315,314,314A. When you pass 314A which is Forest Corners (Winn Dixie, etc.), it is only @ 2 more miles East on 40. Turn south (right) at 183rd Ave Road, which is directly after the Pack and Sack Gas Station. From I-75 North Exit at Route 326. This is south of Gainesville and North of Ocala. Go East under the expressway on 326 and continue until you dead end into SR 40. Turn left on 40.
