Pet Policy

Pets are not permitted at this park. Anyone entering with a pet will be asked to leave. For more information on the NH State Parks Pet Policy, or to see where pets are allowed, please visit: https://www.nhstateparks.org/planning/pet-friendly-state-parks

Park Information

  • NO hook up sites at this campground.
  • The nightly base site fee pays for 2 adults only and up to 4 dependent children under 18.
  • 6 people maximum per site of which only 4 can be adults
  • Additional adults on a site pay $10.00 each, per night. Additional children on a campsite are charged $5.00 per night.
  • NH Senior Citizens are given a $5 per night discount and NH State Employees are given a 50% discount. The discount will be provided once verified at the campground.
  • No more than 2 tents per site. No more than 2 vehicles per site
  • Lafayette is open for year-round camping. Reserved camping with full staffing and facilities will be available from late-May through early-Oct. Camping with limited staffing and no facilities are available at all other times of the year.
  • No water service after mid-October.

    Visitation Information

    There is limited to no cell service at this park. Service may vary based on provider. For emergency calls, use pay phone located at the visitors center.

    • Attention! Please do not bring out-of-state firewood with you. Firewood can carry exotic insects and tree diseases. Safe firewood is available to purchase at the campground for your convenience.

    Youth Groups

    Youth Groups are NOT allowed on family sites. Youth Groups reservations MUST be made through Headquarters by calling 603-271-3556

    Booking Rules

  • The maximum reservation window is 11 months in advance, and sites become available at 8am (9am on weekends) exactly 11 months from the anticipated arrival day.

    • Cancellation Policy:

  • If you are cancelling 7 days or less from your arrival date you will be charged a $15 cancellation fee in addition to the $6.50 non-refundable reservation transaction fee charged at booking.

  • If you do not arrive at the facility for your stay, and do not call the park to cancel by noon on the day of your reservation, no refund will be issued.

    • If there are any concerns about your reservation, please call the ReserveAmerica Call Center at 1-877-647-2757

    Any refund requests occuring after the reservation arrival date must be submitted in writing or emailed to State Parks Headquarters within 14 days of departure. Please email requests to nhparks@dncr.nh.gov or mail to: NH State Parks Reservation Office, 172 Pembroke Rd, Concord, NH 03301
