Day passes are required for out of state visitors to Connecticut State Parks. Out of state visitors must purchase a day pass. Connecticut residents with Connecticut registered vehicles do not need to purchase a day pass since parking fees are eliminated through the Passport to the Parks program. Day passes for out of state visitors should be purchased upon arrival at the park since many parks close to capacity on a frequent basis during the summer. Purchasing a pass in advance does not guarantee entry once a park is closed to capacity.
