This site accepts requests for a Special Activity Permit Alcohol Supplement that, if approved as part of a Special Activity Permit, would allow alcohol to be served at this location as part of your event. To request permission for an event at this facility, fill out the forms at https://www.ncparks.gov/hours-fees-and-permits and contact the park directly.
Firearms (including fireworks) and other weapons are prohibited.
Pets are not permited.
Special Activity Permit shall be required for special events like weddings, bike events, festivals, etc. Please contact park office.
Unlicensed vehicles, motorcycles, golf carts, ATV's and mini-bikes are prohibited with the exception of mobility-aid devices used by a mobility-impaired person. All vehicles are prohibited from walkways, trails and other areas not designated for such purposes.
Confetti is prohibited at all shelters and in the picnic area in an effort to protect our natural resources.

NC resident or non-resident fishing license required where fishing is available. Gates lock at specific hours posted upon entering the park throughout the year.
North Carolina state park rules and regulations are posted in each park and enforced by rangers. Violating these rules and regulations is a misdemeanor and may result in a fine and revocation of permit.
State vehicle and traffic laws are enforced, and the speed limit is 25 mph unless otherwise posted.
North Carolina state parks are wildlife sanctuaries; no hunting is allowed and collecting plants, minerals and artifacts is prohibited. State fishing regulations are enforced.
