Base rate for reservations includes the first 50 people, $1.00 per person thereafter, up to 100 people maximum.
Driving on the grass to unload at the shelter is strictly prohibited due to underground utilities
Day Use Hours
Gates open daily at 8:30 AM; closing varies seasonally as follows:
- -April 1-May 31: 6:00 PM
- -June 1-August 31: 8:00 PM
- -September: 7:00 PM
- -October: 6:00 PM
- -November-March 31: 4:00 PM
- -Park Managers may permit earlier check in or later check out times as needed depending on site availability and customer needs. Customer must call the park directly to make arrangements.
Reservations can be made for multiple days; however, day use hours will be applied to all reservations on a daily basis.
Woahink Picnic Shelter Site Description
This picnic shelter is located on a peninsula of Woahink Lake near a public swimming and diving area. Privacy is limited. Parking area is approximately 150 from the picnic shelter (parking is first come, first served). Restrooms are available year-round, approximately 275 feet from the shelter over an uneven grass field. Shelter provides:
- -5 picnic tables
- -Cold running water
- -Electrical outlets
Horseshoe pits available nearby on a first come, first serve basis.
Permits
Non-typical picnic related events and activities require a permit obtained at least 30 days prior to arrival. You must contact the park (541-997-3851) if you have:
- -Special events (baptisms, weddings, car shows, etc)
- -Groups larger than 50 persons
- -Catering or vendors
- -Use of kegs (OLCC permits will be required)
- -Bouncy houses or other inflatables
- -Sounds systems, DJS, or other entertainment
- -Personal setup items (decorations, chairs, BBQs)
- -Items requiring driving stakes or other objects into the ground or attaching items to structures/natural resources
