GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT JERICHO STATE PARK DAY USE AREA
Known for its trail riding opportunities, this park has amazing views from a number of scenic outlooks. The park also has a wonderful sandy beach on Jericho Lake, where park guests can enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, or picnicking, with a small grassy area set back from the water.
The shelter pavilion has a capacity of 100 people.
A recently constructed bathhouse near the beach and picnic area provides restrooms, showers, laundry, and convenient changing areas. There is also a park store attached to the bathhouse that provides convenient access to snacks, ice cream, and drinks, as well as convenience items.

Pavilion Area:
Set back near the edge of Jericho Lake adjacent to the picnic area, beach, and playground, the 20'x40' pavilion enjoys a view of the lake surrounded by a backdrop of the Northern White Mountains. A large group style grill is located at the pavilion site, and plenty of grassy areas surround the site to add more room for your activities. There is a short walk from the day use parking area to the pavilion, but arrangements can be made with park staff to bring a few vehicles directly to the pavilion behind locked gates if needed. Limited installed lighting is present, but 2 electrical outlets allow you to bring additional lighting or to serve other purposes.
A $7.00 service charge is added to all reservations.
No camping or overnight use is permitted at the pavilion.
Reserving the Covered Areas:
Reservations can be made online with Reserve America at least 30 days prior to your event and requires full reservation deposit payment and reservation service charge. Reservations can also be made by contacting the park office, but payment must be arranged 30 days prior to the event.
Cancellations may be made up to 30 days prior to the event date and rental fee will be refunded. Cancellations less than 30 days prior shall not have any fees refunded.

- Live bands and generators are not allowed
- Grills are not allowed in the pavilions, but can be used just outside.
- Trash is not to be burned or left behind
- NH parks have a carry in/carry out policy for trash
- Water balloons, bounce houses, balloon releases, confetti, and silly string are prohibited
- Nails, Screws, Staples and any other items that will damage the structure are not allowed
- The pavilion opens at 8 am so we may clean the space prior to your arrival. We cannot allow early arrivals for set-up.
- Rental hours are from 8am-8pm.
- If renters wish to have outside vendors, proof of liability insurance is required and must be provided to the park office no less than 2 weeks prior to planned event.
- We must be notified of any equipment rentals you are planning so we can let you know where they are allowed and when they must be removed.
- If renter wishes to inquire regarding list of prohibitions, such as bounce houses, water balloons, etc.- they must email jerichomountainsp@dncr.nh.gov.
