January 27, 2023 - Indian Lodge Trail partial closure: Due to renovations at Indian Lodge, the trailhead there is closed. Access is from the Montezuma Quail Trail only; new distance is 1.5 mi. round trip from that intersection.

December 16, 2022 - The Black Bear Restaurant is now closed in preparation for the Indian Lodge renovations beginning in January.

November 16, 2022 - Burn ban in effect until further notice. No wood fires are allowed. However, charcoal and containerized fuel stoves (i.e. propane) are allowed for cooking. Contact the park for the latest information.

March 29, 2023 - Indian Lodge, including the Black Bear Restaurant, is closed for renovations through January 2024. We are not currently taking lodge reservations for 2024 until a reopening date has been determined.

If your plans change, please modify or cancel your reservation as soon as possible to allow someone else to enjoy the park.

The Indian Lodge does not have a gate. On arrival, Lodge guests do not need to stop at the Davis Mountains State Park entrance gate, but may proceed to the Lodge to check in.

Indian Lodge operates a full service hotel with 39 rooms, maid service, telephone, and cable television. Hotel tax applicable. Check-in is 3:00 pm; check-out is by 11:00 am. Quiet Hours: 10pm to 6am. There are a limited number of rollaway beds and cribs available for an additional fee. Rollaway beds are $10 per night plus tax and cribs are $5 per night plus tax (These are available in the standard rooms only; not available in the historic section). Each room has its own coffee pot with complimentary coffee available in the room or from the front desk.

Wi-Fi is not available in guest rooms, but there are multiple hotspots in public areas of the Lodge.

The Black Bear Restaurant is open for Breakfast and Lunch; Wednesday thru Sunday 7am to 2 pm. Closed for dinner service daily and all day Mondays and Tuesdays. Hours may vary according to the season, please inquire at check-in.

PETS:
Pets are not allowed in the guest rooms, other indoor facilities, or the pool area.
