Situated just behind the sand dunes, the 100-site campground at Horseneck Beach State Reservation is a camping destination like no other. The cobblestone beach provides breathtaking views of Buzzards Bay, access to swimming and surfcasting and two miles of beach to explore.
Spread across nearly 800 acres of barrier beach and salt marsh, Horseneck Beach is one of the most popular facilities in the MA State Park system. Barrier beaches are narrow strips of beach and dunes that are slightly elevated from sea level and provide habitat for wildlife and protection to inland marshes and development.
Swimming is permitted at designated beach areas only and pets are not allowed on the beach or swimming areas. Please note that the beach naturally has a lot of cobblestone. You might want to bring water shoes with you. All the sand dunes are protected and entrance is prohibited.
