Intermittent stream 500 yards behind site, filter or treat all drinking water. Profile = Shanty Springs, 1/4 mile up trail, filter or treat all drinking water.
Campfire rings are provided in this site.
Vehicle cannot get to the site. Parking lot is at the bottom of the mountain.

From Boone Fork Parking Area: 2-mile hike, elevation gain 1,040', average hiking time 1.5 hours. From Profile Trailhead: 5.5-mile hike, elevation gain 2,146', hiking time 4.5 hours. Campfire permitted in stone fire ring provided. Site is 30' off the trail. There are two 8'X 8' wooden tent platforms. Cables to hang food provided; follow red triangles. Intermittent spring; follow blue markers. Minimum number of campers 7; maximum number of campers on site 12. Campers must complete onsite registration form, located at Profile trailhead or kiosk near the Boone Fork parking area.
