Alcohol is prohibited except on individual campsites. Intoxication in a state park is prohibited. Discharging fireworks is not permissible on the park.
Firearms are prohibited except for with the proper license.
Pets are allowed except in park buildings and swim areas, but they must be on a leash no longer than six feet and cannot be left unattended.
Posted quiet hours are enforced. Building fires in undesignated areas is prohibited.
Unlicensed vehicles, motorcycles, golf carts, ATV's and mini-bikes are prohibited with the exception of mobility-aid devices used by a mobility-impaired person. All vehicles are prohibited from walkways, trails and other areas not designated for such purposes.
Park gates will be locked at time of closing. A Ranger is on call in case of an emergency.

Rangers have firewood for sale or bring your own. No gathering of firewood in the campground.
Fresh water license is required when fishing in Goose or Mallard Creeks. Salt water license required when fishing in the Pamlico River.
Must occupy assigned site. Register at park visitor center between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. If after 5 p.m., a ranger will be by to register you. 6 person limit per site includes children. No switching sites.
Reservations will be forfeited if we do not hear from you within 24 hours after arrival date.
Quiet time is from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
North Carolina state park rules and regulations are posted in each park and enforced by rangers. Violating these rules and regulations is a misdemeanor and may result in a fine and revocation of permit.
State vehicle and traffic laws are enforced, and the speed limit is 25 mph unless otherwise posted.
