Alcoholic beverages, firearms (including fireworks) and other weapons are prohibited.
There are no restroom facilities available at the River Access Picnic Shelter effective 8/19/11. There are other restroom facilities available in the area.
Pets are allowed except in park buildings and swim areas, but they must be on a leash no longer than six feet and cannot be left unattended.
Special Activity permit shall be required for special events like weddings, bike events, festivals, etc. Please contact park office for further information.
Unlicensed vehicles, motorcycles, golf carts, ATV's and mini-bikes are prohibited with the exception of mobility-aid devices used by a mobility-impaired person. All vehicles are prohibited from walkways, trails and other areas not designated for such purposes.

NC resident or non-resident fishing license required where fishing is available. Fresh water license is required when fishing in Goose or Mallard Creeks. Salt water license required when fishing in the Pamlico River.
