Rules and regulations are posted at site offices and must be observed by all guests and their visitors.
Pets allowed and must be on a leash no longer than 6'. They must be accompanied by the owner at all times. Pets are not allowed in or around historic sites, cottages, lodges, group camps, swimming area. This policy does not apply to Service Animals. Owners should clean up after pets.
All campfires must be kept in designated areas such as fire rings.
Picnic Shelter #1 - Open-sided covered shelter. Located near the pool and will seat 50 people. Shelter has restrooms, water and electric outlets. Grills near the shelter. Playground ball field and pool next to shelter. A fireplace is in the shelter. Shelter is hard to reach for wheel chairs and elderly people. Maximum of 30 vehicles allowed at shelter. All visitors are required to have a park pass.
Picnic Shelter #2 - Open-sided covered shelter. Located below the Dam at Lake Delanor. Will accommodate 50 people. Offers grill, electric outlet and water. Shelter is near playground, lake and hiking trail. Shelter is wheel chair accessible. Sidewalk from parking lot is concrete. Max of 30 vehicles allowed at shelter. All visitors are required to have a park pass.

F.D. Roosevelt State Park Stone Picnic Shelter Guidelines
Reservations are required for the use of the Stone Picnic Shelter for wedding ceremonies, rehearsals and other events
The Rental Fee includes use of the Stone Picnic Shelter only.
Rehearsals: Use of the Stone Picnic Shelter for a rehearsal is not included in the rental fee. The privacy fee is not included during this time. Please see extras for a privacy fee to be included during this time. Rehearsal date and time should be scheduled when the Stone Picnic Shelter is reserved.
Alcohol is prohibited from the premises
Rice, birdseed, and sparklers may not be used due to the harm they cause wildlife and natural resources. The release of any animal is also prohibited.
The natural beauty of the Stone Picnic Shelter causes for most wedding parties to find additional decorations not necessary. Though if you do find the need for extra decorations please consider the use of: nails, stables or heavily gummed tape (duct tape) is not permitted.
All existing features, including signage, must remain in place
Stone Picnic Shelter Reservation
The Stone Picnic Shelter is a key feature to the park. It is necessary to schedule rehearsals and ceremonies around Park events and hours of operation. The park is open year round from 7 a.m to 10 p.m daily. Reservations of the Stone Picnic Shelter are available year round.
A non-refundable deposit is required the day the reservation is created. Please see the Payment Guidelines section for additional information.
