Rules and regulations are posted at site offices and must be observed by all guests and their visitors.
All campfires must be kept in designated areas such as fire rings.
No Smoking. Enclosed shelter. Located below the Lake Delanor Dam. Shelter has heat/AC for year round use. Equipped with tables, chairs, restrooms, stove, refrigerator & sink. BBQ grill is in a shelter next to the group shelter. Max of 30 vehicles allowed at shelter. All visitors are required to have parkpass.

F.D. Roosevelt State Park Group Shelter Guidelines
Reservations are required for the use of the Group Shelter for wedding ceremonies, rehearsals and other events
The Rental Fee includes use of the Group Shelter starting at 10 a.m the day of the reservation.
Rice, birdseed, and sparklers may not be used due to the harm they cause wildlife and natural resources. The release of any animal is also prohibited.
The natural beauty of the Group Shelter causes for most wedding parties to find additional decorations not necessary. Though if you do find the need for extra decorations please consider the use of: nails, stables or heavily gummed tape (duct tape) is not permitted.
All existing features, including signage, must remain in place.
Alcohol is permitted ONLY inside the building.
The Group Shelter Reservation
The Group Shelter is a key feature to the park. It is necessary to schedule rehearsals and ceremonies around Park events and hours of operation. The park is open year round from 7 a.m to 10 p.m daily.
A non-refundable deposit is required the day the reservation is created. Please see the Payment Guidelines section for additional information.

The Facility Fee includes use of the Amphitheater and Group Shelter
Rehearsals: Use of the Amphitheater for a rehearsal is not included in the rental fee. The privacy fee is not included during this time. Please see extras for a privacy fee to be included during this time. Rehearsal date and time should be scheduled when the Overlook is reserved.
