Firewood Alert: Bringing firewood into Pennsylvania is prohibited and could result in a citation. To help protect the forest from invasive insects that can kill trees and devastate the ecosystem, please do not transport firewood over long distances. Firewood can harbor insects such as emerald ash borer. The use of local firewood is strongly recommended. All firewood must be burned prior to your departure.
The spotted lanternfly has invaded our area. This invasive insect could cause serious harm to Pennsylvania's resources, businesses, and economy. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAVE! Help us stop the spread of these unwelcome hitchhikers. Inspect your vehicle, camper, tent, gear, etc. before you leave the park and destroy any lanternflies you find. - An organized group has a formal organization to coordinate and carry out its activities, appointed or elected leadership and holds periodic meetings.
- An organized youth group has a majority of its members under age 18 and is affiliated with an on-going organization like school, youth and church groups.
- An organized adult group has a majority of its members above 18 years of age and is affiliated with an organization such as the Rotary Club or the Lions Club.
If your group does not fit one of these categories, please select a different site type. Parks may require proof of your group's status upon check in. Non-organized groups that do not meet the criteria above are not permitted on this site.
If you are not an organized group, and book the site, you may be asked to leave the park or switched to the correct site type, if available, and charged the correct amount, which may be higher.

Evansburg State Park has six miles of hiking trails. Most portions of the trails are easy walking with some sections of moderate difficulty.
Evansburg State Park has fifteen miles of designated equestrian trails. Riders can also use the right side berm of public roadways. A parking lot for horse trailers and a nearby equestrian trail head is located on Skippack Creek Road.

Over 1000 acres are open to hunting, trapping and the training of dogs during established hunting seasons. Common game species are deer, pheasant, rabbit and squirrel.
Skippack Creek has spring trout fishing and warm water fishing. The creek is stocked with brown and rainbow trout from preseason to Memorial Day. Warm water fish are small mouth bass, catfish, sucker, carp, pan fish and eel. An accessible fishing dock is located on Cedar Lane at the southern portion of the park.
Over 150 picnic tables, several charcoal grills and modern restrooms are located throughout the park. The main picnic area is on Mayhall Road. An additional picnic area is on Cedar Lane in the southern portion of the park.

Specific site reservations will be made but the PARK RESERVES THE RIGHT to make changes, such as reassignment of site if necessary. CANCELLATION FEES will be assessed on all reservations. .

There must be someone 18 years of age or older in the party who will be responsible for the organized group tenting area reserved.
