DUMBARTON QUARRY CAMPGROUND INFORMATION:
The Dumbarton Quarry Campground by the Bay is approximately 45 acres and is immediately north of the toll plaza for the Dumbarton Bridge on Highway 84 in Fremont, California. There are 60 full hook-up sites and 3 tent only sites. The park is located between the 30,000-acre Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge and the 1200-acre Coyote Hills Regional Park, providing an important link in the San Francisco Bay Trail plus miles of hiking opportunities amid the wetlands and grassy hillsides of the southern East Bay shoreline. To get to Dumbarton the address is 9400 Quarry Road, Fremont, CA 94555. From I-880, take CA-84 to Paseo Padre North, left on Quarry Road, right into the Campground.

MAX SITES: 2 sites per household per reservation, additional sites will be cancelled.
CHECK-IN: 2pm-10pm (If kiosk is unattended within these hours, self-check-in will be available up until 10:00pm).
CHECK-OUT: 12:00pm, NO EXCEPTIONS.
ENTRY GATE HOURS: 8am-10pm. No entry after 10pm.
QUIET HOURS: 10pm-8am
DELIVERIES: The Park is unable to accept any deliveries on your behalf. The registered camper must meet any deliveries at the front entrance. Delivery drivers are not permitted to drive into the campground. If the delivery driver enters the day-use area, they must pay the parking fee.
PARKING: 2 vehicles can park at the site if they fit the pad, any third vehicle (including towed vehicle) is $8 per night paid at check-in and must park in the overflow lot, given availability. NO VISITOR PARKING. ALL SITES are back- in parking only. All roads are one-way inside the campground.
ELECTRICITY: RV hookup sites have 50/30/20 Amp hookups and 120v Outlets
WATER: Water is available at each site, including those with no hookups. Deep sinks outside the bathrooms are ADA accessible (height: 32 inches).
WIFI: WIFI is available, but service may be intermittent and/or unreliable, especially for streaming or work-related purposes. WIFI passcode can be found at the entry kiosk.
FIRES and BBQs: Each site has a Grill/fire ring combination. Fire restrictions may be enforced during your visit please go to https://www.ebparks.org/alerts-closures before your reservation begins to check current restrictions. NO REFUNDS FOR RESTRICTIONS.
BATHROOMS: There are two bathroom and shower buildings at the east and north end of the campground. The bathrooms and showers are ADA-accessible. Covid-19 restrictions may apply.
SHOWERS: AS OF APRIL 2025 - Entry code 74673. The code is subject to change. If no longer working, please check with the Park Staff. Showers are for registered campers only.
WASTE: NO DUMP STATION AVAILABLE. Compost, recycling, and garbage go in fenced-off dumpsters (none at individual sites).
NO SMOKING. NO GENERATORS. NO AMPLIFIED SOUND. NO ALCOHOLIC beverages except beer and wine. Users must be over 21 years old
