Important Information
- Smoking and open flames are not allowed in the yurts.
- There are no EV charging stations for yurt occupants at this time, and extension cords may not be used. Fast charging stations are available in Lions Park in the City of Moab.
- Pets of any kind are not allowed in the Wingate Yurts. Failure to disclose the presence of a pet will result in a $150 penalty fee.
- Dogs that meet the ADA definition of service animal are welcome in the yurts. You may be asked by park staff if your dog is required because of a disability, and/or, what task your dog has been trained to perform according to the ADA compliance requirements. The ADA does not recognize emotional support animals and a doctor's letter does not give an emotional support animal public access rights.
- Visitors should bring their own bedding, such as sleeping bags and/or sheets, blankets, and pillows. The yurt is equipped with a queen sized futon, as well as a bunk bed that consists of a queen mattress on bottom and full mattress above. If you bring queen sheets, they will fit all mattresses.
- Bring your own camping-style cookware, eating utensils, and cooking supplies. The park provides a microwave and mini fridge, as well as a Barbecue grill and propane, but not the grilling utensils. No other cooking appliances are allowed.
- A maximum of six people may stay in each yurt. No camping in tents or RVs is allowed in or around the Wingate Yurt parking area.
- Yurt guests should not use yurts as a gathering location for groups larger than six people.
- Campfires are only permitted in fire pit outside the yurts.
- No firewood collecting in the park. We sell firewood at the park visitor center and entrance station.
- Walk and bike on established hiking and biking trails and on established campground paths only. Do not go off trail.
- Place all trash in the dumpsters located near the restrooms. Do not place trash bags in restrooms.
- When you leave, please follow the instructions in the binder that you will find in the yurt to complete some light cleaning.
- If you are a customer with allergies to dogs please be advised that there is a possibility that service animals have been present in the Wingate yurts.
- When you leave, please follow the instructions in the folder that you will find in the yurt to complete some light cleaning.
- Guests are responsible for damages in excess of normal wear and tear, and are responsible for any missing items.
- Fees for damage to the yurt are the responsibility of the person or persons named on the reservation. Actual costs associated with repairing any damage or excessive cleaning will be charged to the person named on the reservation.
