Group Facilities Rules:
-Amplified sound is not permitted at any time.
-Pets must be leashed at all times in a developed facility and may not create excessive noise.
-Eklutna is bear country. Unattended food items, food containers (including stoves, grills, and coolers), and garbage must be secured in a hard-sided vehicle when not in use to prevent bear problems. Dumpsters are located in the main campground and the ATV/motorized parking lot.
-Washing of any kind is prohibited in the area of the well to prevent contamination.
Group Campground Rules:
-Camping is by reservation only. Reserving party must have the reservation confirmation in their possession for their group during the stay to use the area. The confirmation will include a combination to the gate lock. The reserving party is responsible for gate security in order to prevent unauthorized vehicle access.
-The maximum capacity for group sites A & Bis 60 people and 20 vehicles each. Capacity for the Canyon site is 250 people and 40 vehicles. The vehicle length at the Canyon site is limited by several tight bridge approaches and should not exceed 35' including tow vehicle.
-Vehicles parking outside the group site area are subject to day use parking fees.
-Camping is permitted only in the immediate area of the fire rings and picnic tables. Tables or fire rings may not be moved from their designated locations.
-Reservations are valid from 12pm on the first day of the reservation through 11am on the last day. Max length of stay is 4 days.
-Quiet hours are between 11pm and 6am. Generators, machinery, or excessive noise are prohibited during these hours.
-Fires must be contained in the fire rings provided and may not be left unattended.
-Down wood may be gathered for campfires. Cutting down any tree, alive or dead, is strictly prohibited. Users are encouraged to bring their own firewood. Firewood may be available for purchase at the main campground host site.
