On the day of your picnic, please check in with the entrance station attendant as you arrive at Chatfield. Your reserved picnic area is yours from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm when the park closes. A ranger will inspect the picnic site with the organizer, review park rules and regulations, leave you with trash bags, and give you directions on what to do when you have completed your event for a final inspection to be performed. You are responsible for clean up and any damage that might occur.
