Site Entrance gate hours for Bluewater Lake during the summer, April 1st to Oct 31st are 6 am -9 pm. Entrance gate hours for the winter, Nov 1st to March 31st are 7 am to 5pm. Any arrivals after the scheduled hourly closure will not be able to get to sites until the next morning. If you are unable to arrive to the campground within the time frame provided please park outside the gate entrance in the provided parking area until the following morning.

PLEASE NOTE: When selecting customer type Volunteer Emeritus or NM Disabled Veterans Pass Holder you are required to show your qualifying documentation when arriving to the NM State Park where your reservations are booked. The non-discounted, full camping fee(s) will be accessed at the park without proper qualifying documentation.

Group shelter #1 is adjacent to lower electric loop but not part of the loop itself. This shelter has water and electricity at the location and has plenty of parking for vehicles as well as limited parking for campers and RVs.
