Interior sites at Big Bend Ranch SP are accessible by rugged unpaved roads only. RVs and trailers not outfitted with high clearance off-road suspensions are strongly discouraged from reserving interior sites. If you would like to reserve a site that can accommodate a standard RV or trailer, check availability for sites in the Barton Warnock Visitor Center location.
This site is Chorro Vista. Must have a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access this site. Our 4WD roads are not suitable for most All-Wheel drive vehicles (clearance needs to be above 8')'. The site is up on mountain and is a walk in of 30 yards. It has a metal Picnic table, fire ring/grill, and a scenic overlook. The 2nd highest waterfall in Texas (Madrid Falls Waterfall-131 feet tall) is a ½ a mile hike from this site.
This site requires a toilet system to occupy. No composting toilet is available. No ''cat-holing'' is allowed. Toilet systems can be purchased at a visitor center. Capacity 8.
