There will be ongoing construction near Blind 06 at Barr Lake throughout the 2023-24 waterfowl season. Blind 06 will be closed to public access until maintenance work is completed.

No-show policy: If you are unable to occupy your site on the first day of your reservation, please call the park office in order to notify park staff. Otherwise, your reservation will be considered a "no-show" and your site may be resold. "No-show" reservations are ineligible for a refund for those nights or days passed and the fees for any nights or days passed will be retained.

AttentionColorado weather can be unpredictable: be prepared for a variety of weather conditions including extreme hot and cold temperatures, wind, rain, and snow (even in the summer). CPW does not grant exceptions to the refund policy for weather conditions.

Attention hunters:
Please check-in and out at the check station for your hunting area at the main park entrance, address 13401 Picadilly Rd. Once checked in you will exit the park and go to NW entrance to access your hunting area. The address to the NW entrance is 14500 Lark Bunting Ln. The trail from the boat ramp area to the NE corner of the lake will be closed for the month of September. You can call the ranger phone if you have any concerns or questions: 720-520-1876.

By making a reservation with Colorado Parks and Wildlife, you are agreeing to read and abide by all rules stated in this purchase flow and on the confirmation letter.

A. A reservation is required to hunt and hunters must check-in and out at the check station. Reservations must be made in accordance with #504.I of these regulations.

B. Waterfowl hunting is prohibited, except on opening day and Saturdays and Wednesdays. Hunters may only hunt the area reserved, and only from designated blinds with a maximum of three (3) hunters per blind.

C. Dove hunting prohibited, except on opening day and Sundays and Mondays during the month of September. Dove hunters may only hunt from designated stations with a maximum of three (3) hunter per station.

D. Hunting areas not reserved will be available on a first-come basis after 5a.m. Reserved hunting areas not occupied by 7:00a.m. are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Reservations are not accepted more than 14 days in advance of the hunt date, nor after 12:00 noon on the day before the hunt date, unless otherwise specified.
Hunters are limited to a maximum of one reservation per hunt date.
