Looking for a new way to experience the beauty of nature? Try an adventure with the Georgia State Parks Paddlers Club! Our parks offer access to an array of scenic lakes just waiting to be explored. Whether you’re a seasoned pro with years of paddling under your belt or a complete beginner eager to dip your paddle in the water for the first time, this go-at-your-own-pace quest provides the perfect opportunity to discover a different side of Georgia’s stunning state parks.
Imagine gliding silently across a pond shaded by cypress trees, or a sparkling lake where the sound of gentle lapping water surrounds your kayak? Most Georgia State Parks offer convenient canoe and kayak rentals, making it easy to get started. Of course, you’re always welcome to bring your own kayak, canoe, or even a standup paddleboard for your aquatic adventures. We’re always thrilled to see your explorations, so don’t forget to share your photos with us by tagging #GaStateParks and #ParkPaddlersClub!
Paddle Your Way to Bragging Rights (and an Exclusive Shirt!)

When you purchase your Park Paddlers Club membership online, the adventure begins even before you reach the water. As a special thank you for joining our community of paddling enthusiasts, we’ll mail you an exclusive club t-shirt! Wear it proudly as you explore a variety of waterways with friends, family or on ranger-led excursions.
We’ve also created an exciting challenge for our members. Using our handy checklist, simply paddle at least 12 of the participating parks at your own pace. There’s no time limit, so you can take your time and truly savor each experience. Once you’ve completed your 12 paddles, you’ll earn official bragging rights and a special certificate of completion to commemorate your accomplishment!
