Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief

Hurricane Harvey’s punishing rains, fierce winds and raging floods have left a wake of devastation. Vulnerable residents have been forced to evacuate their homes, not knowing whether they’ll still be standing when they return and emergency responders are working around the clock to provide supplies and services to those dealing with the effects of Hurricane Harvey.

For those searching for shelter Governor Greg Abbott has opened the Texas State Parks to hurricane evacuees free of charge. While several parks are closed, many remain open with space for evacuees to camp. Check the Texas State Parks map for the current status of all state parks and please contact the park prior to arrival to check availability.
