Description:
Located on the northern end of Lake George, Rogers Rock is a very popular family campground. Campers enjoy swimming, bicycling, fishing, boating, and hiking at this recreation facility. There are two group camping areas, which are very popular with families and groups of friends. The park is located just 6 miles south of Ticonderoga, which has many interesting historical sites and educational opportunities.
Geography:
Rogers Rock Campground is located on the west shore in the northern part of Lake George. 32-mile-long Lake George covers an area of approximately 28,200 acres, with a maximum depth of 190 feet. The lake is 3 miles across at its widest point.
Recreation:
Boating, fishing, hiking, and picnicking are campers' favorite activities here.
Facilities:
Rogers Rock offers both individual and group camping facilities. The two areas for group camping accommodate 35-60 people. A picnic area with tables, fireplaces, and pavilions; restrooms with showers; a trailer dump station; a boat launch; mooring buoys; a recycling center; a boat pump-out station; a sand beach; a bathhouse; a guarded swimming area; and pay telephones are almost all handicapped-accessible.

The nearby villages of Hague and Ticonderoga offer restaurants, shops, and golf.
Alerts and Important Information
- To insure fairness for all NY customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 9-month Maximum Window can not be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation was made.
- All persons entering the campground must be registered.
- Upon arrival campers must have their camping equipment and be prepared to set up.
- No permits will be issued and no unregistered sites will be occupied between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
- Check in time is 12 noon until 9:00 p.m.
- Campers must register and occupy their site by 9:00 p.m. on the first night of their reservation.
- Check out time is 11 a.m. Campers must vacate their campsite no later than 11:00 a.m. on the date the camping permit expires.
- No one under 18 years of age can reserve a site or be issued a camping permit. Campers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by someone 18 years of age or older.
- You must sign for your own site. No one else may register a site for you.
- Occupancy is limited to 6 people per site.
- Two tents or one unit of hard wheeled camping equipment and a tent is allowed per site.
- The names of all campers staying on a site must be listed on the camping permit when you first register at the facility
- Two vehicles are allowed per site. Additional vehicles will be charged a daily fee and cannot be parked at the site.
- Length Of Stay: A camping permit can only be issued for a maximum of two weeks. From July 1 through Labor Day, only 14 cumulative days of camping can be obtained at any campground. This is to ensure that new campers can enjoy their right to camp. Reservations may not be honored if you have more than 14 days cumulative camping between July 1 and Labor Day at the campground.
- Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. and are strictly enforced. Campers not listed on the camping permit are not allowed in the facility during these hours. Generators may not be operated during these hours.
- A recycling center is available for refuse disposal.

- Possession of firearms, fireworks or the operation of chainsaws is strictly forbidden.
- Handicapped Access Sites: Sites that are accessible to the disabled are for mobility impaired people only. At least one member of the camping party staying on the site must be mobility impaired (for example, in a wheelchair or uses a walker) or the camping party will be turned away at the campground.
- Refunds will not be made except in cases of bona fide emergencies, such as a death in the family, serious accident, or illness.
- Pets are allowed with proof of current/valid rabies vaccination. Campers can walk a dog on a leash no longer than 6 feet as long as the dog is under control. Dogs can not be left unattended. Campers are responsible for cleaning up after your pet. Pets are not allowed in day use areas, beaches or any structures.
Dogs are prohibited on Temple Knoll Island, Flirtation Island and Waltonian Island campsites and on Asas Island day use area.

From the Northway (I-87): Take Exit 25, Route 8 east of Hague. Turn left (north) onto Route 9N, and the campground is on the right.
From the Northway (I-87): Take Exit 24, County Route 11 to Route 9N. Turn left (north) on Rte 9N to the Village of Hague. The campground is on the right, 3 miles north of Hague.
From Lake George Village: Take Route 9N North to Hague. Continue 3 miles, and the campground is on the right.
