CHINA CAMP SP, CAOpen through Wed Dec 31 2008 Now booking: up to Sun Nov 30 2008 Description:Season for Peak Fees: 05/15 to 09/15 Once the site of a thriving fishing village on San Pablo Bay, China Camp State Park is not only the historic remains of the village, but also 1,640 acres of natural watershed along the shores of San Francisco Bay. The park features extensive inter-tidal, salt marsh, meadow and oak habitats that are home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, squirrels and numerous birds. Visitors not only enjoy wildlife-watching, but also hiking, swimming, boating and windsurfing. The park has some of the best weather in the San Francisco Bay Area, with an average of more than 200 fog-free days per year. Park Kiosk Hours:

Alerts and Important InformationThe park will be first-come, first-serve 10/15/07 through 10/31/07. Discount Pass must be presented at the time of check in.
Park is site specific for reservations. You will select your site at the time you make your reservation.
All campsites are WALK-IN SITES for tent-camping only. Visitors must handcarry all equipment from the parking lot to the campsites. Campsites range from 50-300 yards from the parking lot. Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park. BACK RANCH MEADOW family tent sites 1st come / 1st served 11/01 - 03/31 each year. Reservations 04/01 - 10/31 each year.
