Firewood Notice: No out of state or Wisconsin firewood from more than fifty miles outside any Wisconsin State Parks and Forest property will be allowed to be brought onto the property. Please buy firewood nearby or at the property you are going to. Campers may also call the DNR toll-free Firewood Hotline 1-877-303-WOOD (9663) for information before packing up for a trip.

Wisconsin state parks, forests, and recreation areas are as varied as the areas around them--there are forests, prairies, lakes, rivers, hills, and valleys.
