LCRA Parks FeesEach overnight reservation includes two park entrance fees. Any additional entrance fees are collected upon arrival at the park. The entrance fees are as follows per person per day:
For all reservations, there will be a $6 transaction fee. A $6 transaction fee will also be applied to any cancelled or modified (i.e. campsite, date, etc.) reservations.
Checks are no longer accepted as payment for campsites and entrances fees. To pay for a facility rental or event permit by check, please contact park staff at 512-473-3366.
Group events are welcomed. Prior written permission shall be obtained from LCRA Parks for any organized group activity on involving 20 or more individuals. For additional information, please contact LCRA Parks at 1-800-776-5272, ext. 3366.
LCRA Parks Cancellation Policy
All Cancellations
Cancellations must be made 30 days or more prior to the arrival date in order to receive a full refund minus any applicable transaction fees.
Reservations cancelled between 29 and 8 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit 50% of their payment, plus any applicable transaction fees.
Refunds and/or reservation transfers will not be given if any cancellations are made 7 days or less prior to the scheduled arrival date.
No Shows
Refunds will not be given for no show reservations. Reservations will be cancelled for guests who do not check in at the park by noon on the day following your scheduled arrival date. Please contact park staff at 512-473-3366 if you plan to arrive later than your scheduled arrival date.
LCRA Parks Rules
1. Camping is permitted only in designated areas on LCRA land.
2. Only licensed authorized vehicles are permitted in the parks.
3. Please drink responsibly.
4. Campfires are permitted only in designated fire rings or barbeque pits. (At Matagorda Bay Nature Park, no open fires permitted unless contained in an above-ground device with a spark screen installed covering the fire.)
5. Hunting and trapping are not permitted.
6. Possession or discharge of any kind of fireworks or explosives is prohibited.
7. Swimming is permitted but not within 50 feet of any boat ramp. Swimming is at your own risk; there are no lifeguards. Portable swimming pools or slip 'n slides are prohibited.
8. Please clean up and properly dispose of all pet waste. Protect pets and wildlife by keeping pets on leash in designated camping and picnicking areas; outside designated camping and picking areas, pets must be kept under their owner's direct control.
9. Respect quiet hours from 10 p.m.-6 a.m.
