Description:

Located within 1 mile of the Flaming Gorge Dam and the Green River Spillway, a prime fishing and rafting area. Situated at 6200', this area is representative of a high desert community. The landscape is mainly a pinyon pine forest and sagebrush; temperatures can fluctuate from warm days to cool nights. Facilities include vault toilets, potable water, many picnic tables, and 6'-diameter fire rings. Public showers are available at Mustang Ridge and Deer Run.
