Bowling Green KOA, KY

Description

Bowling Green is home of the National Corvette Museum and the General Motors Bowling Green Assembly Plant, with tours available most weekdays. Other area attractions include Mammoth Cave National Park, Lost River Cave, Shaker Museum and Riverview at Hobson Grove. At the campground, enjoy a beautiful 18-hole mini golf course and a pirate ship in the playground. KOA is adding a conference center (will seat 100) with a TV/computer projector, surround sound and a 10-foot screen. With spring-fed lakes, fishing is popular at this KOA. Weekend activities abound May through September, including holiday cookouts, live entertainment, paddleboat races, pool parties, hayrides and more. Check the website for schedules. There are movies on the weekend (in season), horseshoes, paddleboats, a playground and a nature trail. Free Wi-Fi is available on most sites. KOA's stables and exercise pen provide comfort for equine guests too.
