entered all the information but still can't find a campsite.
Campsites may not be available based on a number of factors:
Your desired length of stay doesn't match the location requirements for minimum & maximum stay.
The selected site type doesn't match any the sites at this location.
No site matches the criteria entered for things such as vehicle length, number of people, ADA selection, shaded/not shaded, or pets.
Finding the ideal campsite may involve a little flexibility on your part. Unfortunately, the more refined your search criteria, the less likely you are to find an exact match. Check out the factors affecting Site Availability.
I
don't see any campsites available for dates I want.
There is no availability for the dates entered or the
dates are outside of the booking windows. For
example:
The dates entered are too far in advance of the arrival date (maximum window).
The dates entered are too close to the arrival date (minimum window).
The park is closed for the duration of the date range that was entered.
The length of stay entered doesn't match the locations requirements for minimum or maximum stay.
A specific site has been made unavailable by the park.
Sites are not available for online reservations or at the call center but might be available at the park.
A reservation has already been made for the site for the dates entered. See the factors affecting Site Availability.
I
only get a partial match to my search.
Partial matches are included in results when parks have
unverified attributes (like "Waterfront" or "Sewer Hook-up").
These parks may in fact have everything you're looking for.
Why
should I book over the web?
In
the time it takes to call and describe your requirements to another person,
you could have your campsite booked and confirmed online. Besides,
you can't have any more influence on the outcome over the phone than you
do online. There
is also the fact that shopping online is entirely safe and most of our
customers are aware of our data reliability and security.
I
have a user account but I can't sign in.
Problems may occur when trying to sign in while making
a reservation, so don't overlook the obvious. Check
to see if your user name and password have been entered correctly.
No charges are applied until you confirm your order.
Exactly
what appears on screen is what you pay.
I
get an error message when I try to book a reservation.
The system will prevent a
reservation from being booked on dates that conflict with an agency's
reservation restrictions. Check out the examples below:
Let's say you're trying to book a reservation for a period of time that exceeds the maximum number of days a park allows. An error message displays and doesn't allow the reservation to complete. The system is simply complying with the park's reservation policies. To view a park's reservation policies, click on General Rules found on each Campground Details page.
What if you're trying to book a reservation very close to the date of your arrival. The system won't allow it because Parks have restrictions on the minimum number of days between the date you reserve and the date you arrive.
And let's say you're trying to book more campsites than allowed under the same user. The system doesn't allow it. To ensure camp sites are available to everyone, the system puts a limit on the number of camp sites any one person can reserve.
A site may not be available for many reasons. Some
of these include:
Site closures: On occasion it may be necessary for a park to close a site. Reasons for site closures vary from general maintenance to emergencies such as site flooding. Our reservation system will display the site but will indicate it is unavailable.
Non-Reserveable site: A park has full control over which sites are made available on the ReserveAmerica web site and which sites are not. Available sites are indicated during the reservation process when searching for availability or looking in the Campground Detail pages. Non-reserveable sites can also be closed or reserved for walk-in customers only.
The Site is already booked: During a park's peak season, sites can be in high demand and during on-sale days, traffic increases exponentially. Please be patient during these times. ReserveAmerica's web site is available to campers from around the world. It may be that someone has just acquired a campsite at the exact same time as you.

What
does the "Best Before" message mean?
Since the Shopping Cart can hold multiple sites with
one payment, it would be extremely unfair if a person could lock up a
site indefinitely before deciding. The
amount of time provided is more than ample to complete online transactions.
Besides,
once you release a site and select another, the clock resets each time.
I
want to change my reservation dates.
You can change dates for a reservation before completing
a sale by clicking the Change Dates from the Reservation
Details page.
I've
changed my mind and I want to select another site.
To select another site and disregard the previously selected
site, click Remove This Reservation on the Reservation Details page.
I
want to add more reservations to my Shopping Cart.
From the order cart, click Make More Reservations.
It
says my payment information is not correct.
The system may be unable to process the payment for a
variety of reasons. Check the payment type information for the following:
Credit card information entered incorrectly
Missing payment information
The credit card number is invalid
The information entered does not match the card selected, or
Credit card details are missing (first name, last name)
My
Order Cart is no longer valid.
We're unable to process your order possibly because:
The Best Before time for the selected inventory has expired. Return to the list of available sites and re-book.
The selected reservation has been acquired by someone else after your cart had expired.
I
want a confirmation of my reservation.
A detailed listing of your online reservations (both past
and present) are stored in our system and can be viewed at any time on
our web site. To view your current and past reservations, you must first
sign into the system from the home page.
Click My Reservations & Account and click My Account. You'll be able to review all your current and past internet reservations. From this screen, you can also update your profile or change your email address and password. See Reservation Confirmation.
I
want to cancel a reservation.
Unfortunately we are unable to cancel reservations via
email requests. If you made your reservation online, you may cancel it
online at the Current Reservations page. A
cancellation fee may apply.
I
want to change a reservation.
Once a reservation is made online, limited modifications
are allowed to be made on the web site. Changing dates, sites or campgrounds
must be done through our call centers. Please see contact information
for the appropriate call center number.
