Oxbow Regional Park is celebrating 50 years as an important community resource sharing its natural beauty and variety of unique recreational opportunities in a place for people to connect with nature.
Oxbow Regional Park is a Metro Park. Oxbow’s wooded campsites are open year-round and located within the scenic Sandy River Gorge, roughly 30 minutes from Portland. Recreational opportunities include fishing, rafting, 12 miles of trails and wildlife viewing.
To protect wildlife, pets are not permitted in any Metro parks or natural areas.
Each of Oxbow’s campsites include a picnic table, fire pit and cooking grill; one restroom/shower building with hot and cold running water, heated-air hand dryers, radiant floor heating and flush toilets. There are also two vault restrooms. The restroom facilities and two campsites are accessible by wheelchair. MAKE SURE YOUR SITE MEETS YOUR CAMPING NEEDS.
