Most park activities are accessible to disabled visitors.
Visitors looking for anything from a weekend retreat to an extended vacation are able to choose from Allegany State Park's 424 campsites, 375 cabins, and three group camps, all of which are accessible to disabled visitors. The seven Fancher Cottages, named for Senator Albert T. Fancher, are fully-equipped, year-round vacation cottages and are also handicapped accessible. Reminiscent of a classic hunting lodge, the Pitt Cottage in the Red House Area offers the same amenities as the Fancher Cottages but is not handicapped-accessible. The park also offers a gift shop, picnic pavilions, and showers.
Nearby parks include Lake Erie State Park, Long Point State Park on Lake Chautauqua, Evangola State Park, Letchworth State Park, and Woodlawn Beach State Park.
From Labor Day to July 1st Cabin/Campsite renters without reservations must arrive prior to 4:30 p.m. Saturday thru Thursday and 7:30 pm Fridays. Or call the park for the most up to date office hours.
